Plainfield Community Outreach

Plainfield Community Outreach (PCO) is the outreach ministry of Grace Church and serves the needy of Plainfield.  PCO operates and raises funds for the following ministries

Grace's Kitchen:  Begun in 1994, Grace's Kitchen serves 1,000 hot nutritious meals the last five days of each month to the hungry of Plainfield.  This grace filled program, run by a small part-time staff and 150 volunteers from ten parishes and local community groups, received a Congressional Medal for Exemplary Volunteer Service to the community.  Food is obtained by donations from local stores and is purchased at the Community Food Bank in Hillside.

Plainfield Education Program Institute (PEPI):  PEPI is the education division of Plainfield Community Outreach, Inc. We are a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation. Plainfield Community Outreach, Inc. is committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, trusting, and caring environment where teaching and learning are exciting and students are assisted as they develop responsibility and achieve high academic skills and performance. All aspects of our organization and activities are student centered and designed to accommodate individual learning styles so that all may experience success.  More details can be found here.
